The world is changing around us and the speed of change will only intensify. Global Warming, Green House Gas (GHG) emissions, the Internet of Things (IoTs), digital infrastructure transformation and Government policy is effecting us all. Leveraging mobility to manage business change will greatly assist everyone involved in energy and building management across the globe – especially for utilities and large enterprises.

After a year of your feedback about Utilities all over the world, we are now using this knowledge to change the way you enter your bills in the Scream Energy App.  In less than a month you will be able to walk through a new way to enter your information while being informed and educated on what you are paying for.  Our goal is to make this a universal approach for any electric, water or natural gas bill in the world. Once we are live with  "2.0" , we will want your feedback so we can tweak it.

So why are we doing this??? Good question.   For us to deliver your Green House Gas emissions and promote conservation in a social way,  we went back to basics, but in a smarter way.

Our Scream Energy App is constantly evolving. Last month we completed work on simplifying the user experience to add locations and Utilities (from all over the world). Right now we are working on simplifying user entry of Utility bills.  The changes we are making is a direct result of feedback we received from people like you. Watch for the Bill / Statement update at the end of May.

We want to thank everyone that has provided feedback in our app.  The App is young and the market is new so relax and watch us evolve.

As another update... Screaming Power's Research is becoming reality with weather normalization coming soon to the app.  Whats that?  take a look at our video.

Toronto, ON, April 4th 2016- A wise character from Dan Harmon's hit comedy series, Community, once said "The universe is an endless raging sea of randomness. Our job isn't to fight it, but to weather it together, on the raft of life". And he couldn't have been more right. The world is a raging tornado of constant shifts and changes in the way we think, feel, and act towards one another as well as our surroundings. And as these shifts occur, it is important for brands to adapt and embrace the change, rather than fight it. This year, like several other brands, Screaming Power will be undergoing lots of changes in order to strengthen their role and identity as a brand. Part of these changes will consist of a full brand redesign, establishing a fresh look and feel to more suitably reflect the brand's personality and motive.

Who Needs Energy Anyway? - 10 Reasons I should not have direct access to my Energy Data

With the slow movement of innovation and true mobility in the energy industry, we began to take a tongue-in-cheek look at the explanations that highlight why we don't need electronic access to our own, personal energy information. Although these top ten reasons are fairly common, there is a lot of controversy surrounding availability and easy access to energy information. As a result, we hope the market begins to focus on the proper exchange of information to further eliminate the continued stagnation of the energy industry's technology evolution, while the world around us rapidly automates.

Below, are the top 10 reasons why energy users feel they do not need access to their energy information.

1) I am not asking for it anyways.

In fact, most of us simply pay the bills as they come and have rarely thought to question why we pay the amounts we do every month.

This CABA White Paper examines the driving force for zero net energy buildings, along with examining various definitions and technologies. The paper then presents a concept for a feasible net-zero solution applied to a building cluster consisting of an office building and homes.

We all know the devastating effects that fossil fuels have on both our planet and our health– impacts ranging from climate change and extreme weather events, to air pollution and human health problems, to habitat degradation and biodiversity loss– none of these effects seem like good news for us, and have even worse implications for our future generations. Over the last 150 years, combustion of fossil fuels has resulted in a more than 25% increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.

Last night, the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (www.ontario-sea.org) celebrated its 6th annual Powering Prosperity Awards dinner (www.poweringprosperity.ca), recognizing the champions of the sustainable energy sector, and celebrating the achievements that help advance sustainable energy within the province of Ontario.
